Day Before the Event
Well it is the night before the event and the first step to the true beginning of our legacy project. If our event goes well our project will have a lasting impact that will benefit not only nonPareil but the DFW community. Tomorrow will be the beginning of the lasting impact we will have. We have had many hardships up to this point but have put in countless hours just making it happen. I consider myself experienced for my age in the leadership category and this project only added to that. It has opened my eyes to how a true start-up company has to run when dealing with money, coordination, motivation, and overall selling of the "idea". Our mission for this event has been to grow nonPareil's awareness in the Fort Worth community and to ultimately help lead to a future of success. They are creating value within the community with sustainability and passion and Grant and I have fed off of both. My overall growth has been immense during the course of this project. It has added new experiences that I will be able to reflect and grow from to use in the future. I have lead a 110 man fraternity chapter as president, lead Frog Camp in a plethora of ways as a Director, and now served as a volunteer project manager for a start-up, self-sustaining, non-for-profit, value-creating, socially-entrepreneurial business. Awesome.
