Grant and I met with Gary Moore and Dan Selec this past Friday in Plano at nonPareil's facilities at SMU Plano. The meeting went great; we were there about an hour and the time flew bye. It was also a productive meeting and we set out an initial plan for our big project and took a tour. We are going to put together an awareness dinner on campus. It will not be directed at TCU, though we will have some TCU people there, the bulk target will be the Fort Worth Community. Details have yet to be worked out, but Grant and I are soon to hammer them all out. This is going to be BIG.
We are really excited for this project. We are going to make a huge impact for nonPareil and these people with the disability they have, Autism. After we left on Friday Grant and I talked on the way back to FW about our thoughts, how we felt about our client, and where we should go from here.
The thing that is different about our project and client then others is that nonPareil is a start up business. This is not some charity we will simply raise money for. It is not a non-profit where they will need donors for the next 50 years. They have a self sustaining business plan. They have a way to make money and utilize adult with Autsim while providing them a comfortable work environment and living area.
The founders are so inspirational. They left there jobs to start nonPareil and to follow there passions. That's how I want to live my life. It was very eye opening and it was great to be able to discuss this with Grant. We both cant wait to gather up a team to get this started.
This was quite all over the place, but overall I am thrilled with the challenge we have in place and am excited to gather a team to accomplish our mission. This project will be so beneficial to nonPareil but to me as well.

Contact
So I made the initial contact. I spoke with a lady named Justine and gave her a brief overview of what we are looking to do. She took down my information and will be passing it on to the president of the organization, who I originally asked to speak too. He should be contacting me soon I hope and we can talk about what we want to do! Hopefully we can set up a meeting next week where the President: Gary Moore, Grant, and I can get some concrete plans into place. I am very excited about this project. I do not know what we will be able to do for the institute but I know Grant and I can make a big impact. Autism is a vastly spread disease that needs more attention and I want to have a hand in aiding anyway I can.
The Beginning
So it is January 19th. I am making initial contact with our client today. I will be working with Grant Eason on the Legacy Project. We have good complementary skills and have worked well together in multiple facets in the past. We should be able to recruit some help from others as we go and be able to lead a team to a successful project. We hope to be working with nonPareil Institute based out of Plano. They work with people with Autism in a variety of ways and have a vision for the future that needs help to accomplish. I will be seeking to make the initial contact today. On Friday Grant and I can hopefully be in contact with them again to discuss more about their needs and our abilities. The semester is picking up quickly so we need to get a roll on this.
